Hi all,

I have a black 56 plate 1.2 dynamic panda which I have owned since new. This is my daily driver to work (60 miles a day). I am really into my cars and have a Honda CRX siR for weekend use, hence I have to upgrade everything I own!

After 4,000 miles I was sick of the roll and ride on the panda. I fitted Eibach pro springs and a red omp strut brace which have helped no end. After 15,000 miles I replaced the air filter for an ITG panel filter - I have used these on my previous Hondas and been impressed so had no worries using one on the little fiat!

The Panda has now reached 40k and I have pretty much decided to keep it until it dies so I want to spend a little money on it - not a lot as its my daily driver, but I do like all my cars set up to my liking!

Here is the list of what I want to do....

Suspension

Yellow Koni kit - I will fit the eibachs and sell the koni springs - never been a fan of their springs but I do like their shocks. I run a koni/eibach combo on my crx
15" wheels - prob 6-6.5J wide and 195/50 tyres. These will be as light as possible so will prob buy some japanese wheels. tyre wise I was thinking yokohama parada spec 2's as thats what I use on the honda and love the grip they give.

Engine

Remus Catback system or custom made
Higher lift OEM cam (from a punto right?)
Remap of the ECU

This is my plan to make my panda to my taste. However all input is welcome - if you don't agree or can add to my list that would be great

Many thanks

I prefer function to form, but you already have the CRX for performance. So with that in mind, how about concentrating on aesthetics and create a Euro-look Panda?

Lower it as planned and fit appropriately-styled wheels plus a custom-made stealth exhaust. There's not much point in trying to increase power or grip because you have the Honda for that, so I wouldn't change the cam, ECU or fit sticky tyres. Have a look at some of the vinyl wraps that are available and use them to create an individual 'look'.

As it's your daily drive, you can then cruise along saving fuel and allow others to admire your creation.

That's just my opinion! :)

It would be cheaper to sell it and buy a 100hp, than modify it. And if you did that you would have a faster car too.

Because he would have to put up with the crap ride and have a car that looks like every other 100HP. I dont think that is what he is trying to achieve.

I am with Ian, go for a nice Euro look. I love the Blue Novitec panda on this site.

Thanks for the useful advice.

I think its probably wise for me to just leave the engine well alone, as I don't need the extra power. I have another car for that.

I think for now I will do my suspension and fit some wheels and see how that goes. I already have some wind deflectors which really suit the car.

many thanks guys
