Styling Best Panda Paint Colour?

White!!!

Picked up my new Panda yesterday in White and its great!!!! really pleased with it.

I also like the Purple or orange but seeing as the white is free - it cant be beaten!

The best ever colour for a Panda, no longer available, was Dry Turquoise, as attached.

:yeahthat: Was about to say that, sure Nige will agree as well (y)

Couldnt lose that colour in a car park, now as for trying to find my new car :(

Good Grief, that beige is completely unacceptable... was that not once called Jewish Gold?

I thought that colour went out in the 1970's

I think the pastel blues are weak, Red just fades, black not good on a small car... pearlescent white would look stunning, with contrasting black interior, and rubbing strips, like the Panda Glam.

The Orange looks ok, but you can't beat plain old white for a cheap small hatchback.

But the most outstanding colour of them all is the Electric Grey you get on the 100hp.

Recently bought a new fiat panda 1.3 multijet. I had originally ordered it in black but swtiched to cumbia beige after seeing one in a showroom and thinking it looks really good. Hope I don't regret it. On the plus side you don't see many about so at least its original. Got me thinking though what do panda owners out there think the best colour is? Votes please!

p.s. I saw one in orange the other day and was surprised that it actually looks really nice. You just can't tell until you've seen these colours "in the flesh" so to speak.

No offence meant to anyone, but this particular shade of beige just doesn't cut it for a Panda. Why? The colour brings back bad memories of 2 of the following cars :-

1) Austin Allegro.
2) MG Maestro :p

As for colours I find most suitable, the white is nice but there is one problem with a white on a Panda....... it will show the dirt.

The colour I like best on it is the Red and Orange.

 Ha ha none taken! But u just reminded me that when I was a little'n my Grandad had an Austin Allegro in this colour and I loved that car! Must have been subliminally remembering this when I ordered my MJ.

I was quite shocked to find that the only freebies were white and yellow.
I got a black one yesterday to match my bike.

Here you go Trev.....(y)

(Remember, you also need the Orange Freak and the Orange Rabbit peeping out of the back windows!)

Definitely the best colour - and no, you never lose it in the car park!:)

Mind you lat sat could of have done with that orange when trying to reverse out of a space in Sainsbury's car park - how the hell is a blue Panda with Italian ribbons from the aerial invisible ? :bang: :bang:

Hehe - Henry is very sweet! My 5 year old wants to adopt him already and my 18 month old is jumping up and down, pointing at him and shouting"puppy, puppy, puppy...!!!" But there again, that's just about all she ever says! :)

I know I should "search", but what is the story behind the squirrels? And Spirito di Hippo? Nosey 5 year old (and Dad!) wondered...

The Freak and Rabbit were acquired simply for being very Orange (and cute!)

Richard

Hippo was the name of my late offroader, a 3.0 litre Toyota Surf, which I had for 5 years, loved dearly right upto when the engine decided it had finished playing on the M25/M23 daily at 130,000 + miles.

If you search my gallery you will see pictures of my mud muncher :D

The Panda has taken over the commuting duties (decided to get a low mileage car capable of years trundling around the great car park, rather than new engine and waiting for the next breakdown as the AA were beginning to know Hippo intimately  )

So now you know why the title 'Spirito di Hippo' is on the car, it's also a cheesy play on an old Fiat advert - think Punto :D

As for the Squirrels, well that came from another forum where the cry 'beware the squirrel' was about, and me in a mad mood decided to be the squirrel.

The Panda is called Squirrile which is short for Squirrel mobile :D

I must say that the Panda is doing a sterling job is making up for the (not so) small fortune I spelt in fuel over those 5 years (my base office changed just after I got her :bang: :bang: ). I much prefer 56+mpg over 24 , especially when doing 18,000 miles a year :bang:

We used to think ours was New Orleans Blue and, apart from the grey, it was the best colour. These days we've taken to calling it Target Blue as the local gulls can't seem to manage to crap on any other car so long as ours is about........(n)

It could be a Panda thing - I was on the quay at Appledore for a couple of days recently for their arts festival - there were cars lining both sides of the quay road but within minutes of my arrival my recently washed Electroclash 100HP had received a couple of direct - and voluminous - hits.
