Not the best photo but its Fiats own brochure. Its dark grey.
Why does that pic remind me of Bonanza?
Best I can do with the bumper colour.
And I painted the wheel bolts with chrome paint. Not really chromy but actually came out better than I thought.

I even got time from somewhere to paint the air box and fit it on. The spare wheel I set in to get it out of the way.
And the bumpers are now on although the rear has to be lined up yet.
Still a long way to go but I felt I turned a corner today. I've tried for the past 20 minutes to paste the large version of the photo's but can't get it to work on this laptop so if you want to see them you'll have to go into my gallery

That's very kind of you to say but I'm afraid its far from concours, the paint isn't perfect and I'm a little sorry now I didn't take more time with it to go the extra bit. I think there was a golf wheel that looked a bit similar.

Are the bonnet hinges held on to to body with just a nut and washer?? Put mine on and they seem a bit wobbly. Have not put the bonnet on though.

Yes 2 10mm bolts and washers per side. There is a little play but not much.

Thats a genuinely beautiful car Stu. Did you ever find out anymore about the '81' chalked behind the rear bumper
