Hey, newbie here. scanning through the forum looking for any information on body kits and can't find if anyone has managed to find any or bodge another one to fit. Last thing I read was on modifying a fiat uno turbo body kit to fit. Anyone know any more on this?

Cheers

Hi, welcome to the forum (y).

Most body mods we've seen have been one off's scratch built by the owners I'm afraid.
In fact nobody bothers much with this kind of thing on Pandas, apart from the odd MK2 Golf front spoiler and some universal fit wheel arch extensions. Certainly nobody makes anything specifically for the Panda, if you don't count the bonnet scoops.

Be interested to see if you come up with anything.

Well Have to lower it for a start as the back rides so high, guess I will have to mod a few bumpers to fit. A trip down the breakers it is for me I think. After I change the head gasket, blew up on a drive to the retro rides last weekend. (n)

lowering is easy deppends how low you wanna go tho =] and with lowering you need stance =] if you want megga lows like me then its a bit of work but heres a few pics

Cheers, a friend is going to lower it for me, not sure how low yet. But I did see your panda at retro rides the other weekend. Was impressed. I did get laughed at by hot wire when I pulled up in my washing machine white panda. How low have you gone? And are they universal Wheel arch extension?

Yer the apparent ''good spot'', love the ''electronic transmission'' sticker. Getting rid of the CVT, change to a manual. Cool, will have to look into that. You remember the guys name? or rr tag? which engine you putting in?

Not a fan of the CVT, normal auto I can deal with. Don't like how it feels to drive. But when I come round to removing it will post on here if anyone wants it.

Why kill a Selecta when you can get a manual Panda

There are to few Selecta's as it is, killing one will be sacrilege when it'd be easier to just buy a manual (n)

Aup , I'm going to be learning to drive this year and I've brought a fiat panda 750 fire of my uncle. I'm looking to lower it and put some wider arches on it. Just wondering how much is a set of those arches are which look ace on your panda. Also how have you got your panda to be that low !! It's mad !! But amazing.

don't do any thing to it that cant be undone, the 750 is becoming rare is its going up in value fast for ones that are original.

MC Rallying used to do a works body kit for the Yugo Tempo that was virtually a straight fit. Prima Racing do the Horman bits for the Uno that can be adapted to fit the Panda. Clive's V8 Panda had Forest Arches for the Mk II Escort and an adapted Uno Turbo front bumper and smoothed rear bumper.

It would be interesting to see something new. :)
