Anyone know if the orange paint on the focus st is metallic, pearl or whatever. Am considering it for a project.

yeah ive seen once close up and its just solid, no flakes sparkles or anything. Almost identical to the Caribbean orange on the Grande Punto

how come it ain't pearl on the actual car then?. Someone a few doors down from me has one and I could swear blind its a solid colour.

mines exactly the same colour, ford 6FSE definatly is pearl, looks really nice in the sun, you can see the effect better on the spraybooth picture.

because they know the highly modded car is more likely to be properly insured as the owner wouldn't want his pride and joy being taken away because he didnt declare stuff
