I want to connect my mp3-player (not ipod) to my radio. I already tested this one:

It fits but I get no sound at all. The radio tells me I'm in AUX and the volume is set to max. Nothing but noise. Cable is fine.
Anybody knows what could be wrong?
I think one solution is to use this:

but I don't want to spend more than 100 bucks if theirs another way...

hello, if your radio model is "fiat 194 cd blaupunkt" (the default radio in new croma) you have to use the yellow mini-iso cable, not the blue one. Tested 100% works on my new croma!

Can you please confirm where can this mini iso cable be purchased?

Don't want to waste $$ in a cable that does not actually do the trick!

well, I've found it on ebay, searching "cavo aux fiat", but I think you can easily find it also in every electrician garage.
The yellow mini-iso takes the A.AF-R, A.AF-L, A.AF ground contacts on the right (the yellow mini-iso connector can fit only that position).

Hi,

I purchased the mini-iso yellow cable form Ebay it, it fits in but problem is I cannot change to AUX mode!
Voice is activated (I see a volume level) in the menu, and source was connected and playing, pressing SRC just goes from Cd to tuner, or 'no source available' if no cd is in.

Please how do I get the AUX mode activated?

Ok, I know that I sound like a dump, but i bought my car in Italy few weeks a go, so i got the manual on Italian, witch I can't understand.

Where can I find the plug for that mini-iso yellow cable in my car. I new that AUX mean the input and that there is some possibility to add MP3 player but i don't know where is the plug.

Please if u can explain me or if u can take a picture of it so i can find it.
