After owning my Punto Evo rear lights for 3 months my electrical engineer mate finally wired them up

Here's one took at night

I know the phone pic's and my photo taking ability are crap

They look alittle lexarse style, but I think you car pulls it off with the black detailing! Any error codes with the bulb thing?

No error as we fitted a resistor like the italian instructions said

I used a 50watt 15ohms resistor, which connects to the yellow and the black wires, apart from that i'm not sure as my mate from work did all the hard work

How are they even remotely lexus light looking? There is no chrome in it what so ever lol

Because there are still hardly any evos on the road and I don't see the back of mine while driving, the evos rear lights still catch your eye because of the led strips. Looks really good mate

i'm still to be won over by the evo lights, but the more i look at them the more they grow on me. i've not seen them on a gp before, certainly looks different

did you buy them brand new from fiat?

It's a common problem on alot of cars.

The bulb fitment is different on the EVO its h11 not h3. And the the bulb itself actually seals the unit when it's twisted into place then a connector plug attached.

Not a rubber cap like I think the gp might have.

And because if you have fogs on an EVO the cornering function at night means the bulbs heat would evaporate the condensation as they come on so frequently.

Lastly I think the evo has a universal fog lamp which is round so might not actually be a fiat part, just a generic round foglight if that makes sense.

So far no condensation in either of mine

It wasn't actually me who said they were lexus style bud, it was nickk!

I just said that I wasnt a fan of lexus style lights lol!
