Hi all. This is my first post so be nice. :)

I left a deposit on a 51 plate doblo van yesterday, it's got a few minor niggles i'd like to sort out, most of them being easy 2 min jobs.

The only thing i'm not too sure about is the steering. It's excessivley light, as if the steering wheel isnt connected to the wheels almost lol. The tyres looked soft if anything, although i'll check that first when i pick it up. Could it be the fluid used? Tracking??

Any ideas what it could be? Do all doblos have light steering?

Mabey the steering is naturally light, and the tracking is making it feel worse??
 
My 1.2 petrol can be steered with my little finger, I would expect the little petrol 1.2 litre engine to be light, although the heavier 1.9 to be heavier in the steering department! Perhaps there is more assistance on the diesel versions to give the overall driving "experience" as the excellent petrol versions :rolleyes:
Certainly the Diesel versions have more troubles than the petrol ones, ha ha.
