Hey Guys!

Just found this alternative device for knock detecting, your own stereo engine sound Very handy with tuning the ignition tables

nope its just a microphone and amp. i made on about a year ago. works really well but have not really used it as its dangerous to listen yourself and drive and ive yet to find anyone else who knows what to listen for or is keen on hearing lots of rattles and knocks for hours on end

The human ear and brain is better at detecting random sounds then even the most advance/expensive knock detection

Turn up the gain on your ears.

How much would you 'catch' at various engine speeds sitting on the drive compared to the engine being under load?
