General Fiat 500 "Color Therapy"

Therapy blue looks close to gulf blue so would be rude not to get the orange stripes livery out

I have seen this video! Well, I insist that it is volare :p It's really hard to say from the pics and videos. When the time comes and it's on a showroom i'm gonna make a visit and make a real comparison :p

I reckon you'll be eating a lot of humble pie when you realise that it's different but 'we' wouldn't rub it in ! :)

Any further news on this model from anyone, along with the new colours? Things appear to have been quiet on this front for about 2 months now. Be good to see the Colour Therapy soon, I heard it was lined up for a June launch?

I'd expect them to become "live" at the end of June ready for a July launch - the start of the next quarter which was when last years changes became available.

Several colour selections have disappeared from certain models on the 500 configurator, so i'd imagine they're using up remaining stock now (1.2 Lounge still has most/all colours available).

Therefore i guess the new colours will be available soon. Hope so anyway - the selection's even more pi*s poor than it usually is at the moment (n)

Having appeared on the configurator not all the Colour Therapy options are on the UK site. Fiat have dropped the two really nice colours - Coffee Creme and Yellow Ochre - both of which appear on the Italian configurator, what a shame.

Colour selection on the 500 is now getting very boring with not all colours being offered on all models. If you choose a Street model you only get a choice of 5 colours, 3 of which are black or dark grey!

It was a mistake to have dropped Midnight Indigo Blue.

Having looked at the new offers available it would seem we will be getting the new Yellow, at least:

It mentions it in the text aswell as having the photo. Midnight Indigo Blue is still available under its old name on the 500c and as Footloose Blue on the 500 hatchback. It just doesn't appear to be available on the new Street (or Colour Therapy) trims.

Back page of this morning's Metro carried a full page add for the new colours - featuring Chillout purple.

As my BlackBerry camera is rubbish, the text reads:

Sunglasses at the ready, the fiat 500 is now available in 6 new simmering colours. Chillout Purple, Idol Pink, Groove Metal Grey, Epic Blue, Countrypolitan Yellow and New Age Cream....

There is a fotonore which says Idol Pink is available from Auugust onwards.

I think the 'Coffee Creme' is offered - it's called New Age Cream over here I think. But I agree, it's a shame they've decided not to offer the Yellow Ochre, especially considering they've deemed it acceptable to offer the new Punto in that lurid lime green!

The new teal colour (Epic Blue) on the standard 500s is nice, as is the new Groove Metal Grey, but I agree that the Street appears very limited indeed.

Wow! Looks like we will be getting all of the colours. They shouldn't have bothered with Idol Pink though - I'm afraid I cringe every time I see a pink 500 on the roads. Countrypolitan Yellow could sell well - I always felt the original yellow that Fiat offered wasn't quite the right shade for the car. Countrypolitan has that lovely 70s feel to it.

Also worth noting that all standard 500 Pops now come with the vintage wheel trims as standard.

As above, i did say yesterday we're getting the new yellow - it says so on the link i provided :bang:

Judging by this (although it is a pixelated picture) the Groove Metal Grey does appear to be a metallic green colour.

If I can see them right I would say the colours were in this order on the ad:

Groove metal grey (green), Chillout Purple, Epic Blue, Idol Pink, New Age Cream and Countrypolitan Yellow.

Encouraging stuff as I think the Epic Blue, Yellow and a metallic green colour will suit the 500 a lot. (y)
