Hi everyone :) I'm planning to get a 500C Lounge as a company car next year - ready to place the order any day now. Very excited! But I have a feeling I will need to curb my excitement a bit as I'll be in for a long wait..

...can anyone advise how long the waiting list is for 500C's? I just want the standard 1.2 lounge spec, white with red roof and the white/brown/white ambience interior.

Thanks! :) I have a feeling this place will become very useful while I'm waiting, and then getting to grips with my new car. I've had a bit of an internal battle about whether to go for the 500C or not - the 'sensible' part of me thinks I should get a Golf or Focus or something, but what I *really* want is a 500C - so I'm going to listen to the fun side of me instead ;-) And when everyone else turns up at work with their boring cars, at least mine will get noticed!

Thanks guys :) I can't go through a dealer - as it's a company car I have to go through Lex Autolease...and I think they'll talk straight to the manufacturers? They just left me a message to say worst case waiting time will be three months. I guess I can put it to the back of my mind and wait that long! At least it'll be almost spring by then and I might be able to put the top down in some lovely spring sunshine :)

Thanks re the offer Mark - might take you up on it! What colour-co did you go for? That's the big decision I've got left to make (expect to see another post about it shortly!!)

I might think about adding some other stuff too - now that I know it'll be made to order it won't make much difference timewise!
