General YEYE Green Paint HELP

Well last month some idiot decided they didnt like my lovely wee green 500 and took a key along the side of it Thankfully my Dads friend is a pro car sprayer and said he would fix it for me at a very discounted rate
My car went in Friday and he has been sprayed twice with two different paints match and mixed and different suppliers and neither are right. The guy spraying it has now invited the paint rep out to see why its not matching right.
I was just wondering if anyone has had a YEYE Green 500 sprayed/touched up and if they have had the same issues or a solution to the problem.....
A thought was that it might be a waterbased colour.................any similar issues?

Modern paints are increasingly hard to match. How badly is it out? Hows me planning on repairing the damage? Often the hold pannel will need to be painted and blown into the surrounding pannels I believe (but I'm by no means an expert paint person).

I have now got my car back and looks as good as new, incase anybody is looking at this and needing a Ye Ye Green painted it is a water based colour which is why it was so difficult to match apparently.

All modern paints are water based - it's actually getting tricky for people to get hold of the old stuff. Glad your beast is back to its best.

All good until the swines wear a hoody or break in and nick the CCTV
