I have a 52 model JTD ELX. The front blue seats appear to be fading and wearing slightly, It has only done 26k,has any one esle experienced this problem.

I believe it is a problem with the elx trim only - if you car is covered by warranty then a trip back to Fiat should be in order!
My 2001 JTD ELX has a worn driver's seat. 65k miles. Material completely worn through where butt rubs on it when getting in & out of car. having had a number of FIATs, I've grown accustomed to feeble material quality & workmanship. Doesn't seem to stop me from buying them!cooky257 said:

Father in laws JTD has done 125000 miles and seats are in as new condition, maybe its how they are being cleaned thats causing the problem?

SX seats last forever - seats in the more expensive ELX dont!!!!

This problem is well documented and I have posted a picture of the problem cloth. if it is the same as yours...fight the dealer into a corner, print off some of the postings from the forum and show them to them! IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM!
