Nice! NTL recently upped my BB from 600k to 750k but I get downloads more like 1Mb prob cus I live near the Nottingham NTL centre

Yeah, innit funny how NTL have given me degreaded download speeds and variable service until the 'new improved' setup arrived. This is the second time this has happened waiting for a 'new improved' service.

I do not like them - they lie, cheat and steal.

Lol, one is bytes per second, the other is bits per second.

You need to compare the 723.30 to your 1.1Meg BB - slightly on the low side, but no major concerns. Have you tried re-doing the test???

BTW, I will try on my Pipex 1Meg tonight and see what the result is.
