Made a school boy error during cutting out a previously bad welding job that had been done one the sill of my car, cut through some of the loom!

I’ve not had experience prior with electrics but would like to know how I can rectify this and carry out a repair but would like to know firstly how I can identify which wire goes to which, I’ve temporarily tied the ones that are unique together.

Hello,

Even if some of the cables look unique I'd check all the functions are operationnal before soldering for good.

I have no idea what can be the loom for, but could be fuel pump or rear light cluster. Or anything else. Perhaps someone with an experience with the cinquecento will help. I'm affraid that the wiring diagram would be the most helpful to confirm which cable is which one (checking the cable on the cut side and the terminal side on the other end with a multimeter for passing).

The repair on the green wire looks fine to me, apply solder on that and will be perfect. Use a heatshrink tube with glue inside to prevent water ingress into the tube.
