Technical Wipers stuck on with headlights.

Hi, i am experiencing a weird issue with my Marea, when ever i turn on the headlights the wipers turn on and will not turn off.

I have checked all earth wires according to this diagram, and they all have been cleaned up and the issue persists. This was suggested in older thread: https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/wipers-on-with-headlights.416999/

I have also tried switching out the staulk unit from another var which did not have this issue, however the issue still persists.

I have no idea where to look next...

Hi,

For anyone in the future seeing this post and looking for a solution, mine turned out to be a faulty relay in front of the battery box.

See attached files, page 2 no. 98 labeled: Headlamp washer switch.

I removed this relay / switch and the ghost wipers have stopped. The only annoyance is that that front washer nozzles for the headlights are no longer usable.
