Gloom - the one good thing about this car was that everything worked, now the front wiper has stopped working. It was working until I switched the ignition off, then next time nothing. I'm assuming it comes off the 20a fuse marked servizi, which is ok. The screen washer and the rear wiper work ok. How straightforward is it to get access to the motor, has anyone done it?

Brilliant, that's cheered me up, I've had to dismantle most of the dash before now to get at wiper motors.

Well I got the wiper out, and hooked it up to a battery direct and it seems to work, I can only think the problem is in the column stalk or in the intermittent delay module, does anyone know where that is, or is it integral with the wiper motor.
Cheers, Mike

Just to help anyone who might do a search on this problem, it was the earth block, which was galling as it was the first thing I'd checked. I ran a lead from the battery negative direct to the hedgehog, and thoroughly cleaned the terminals second time around and it worked, just moving the spade connectors up and down the terminals had no effect. Shame I'd stripped the motor out and faffed about for about 4 hours before coming back to this!

If its any help, your not the first to have done the same with the wiper motor and then found its the earth:eek:. Its what I always check first now with the Panda if there is an electrical problem.
