Technical Wiper Blade Replacement

Good day all,

New owner here - just bought a 1970 Fiat 500L and I'm very excited.

Simple task: I need to replace the wiper blades, but I cannot seem to get them loose. I am releasing the clasp and trying to get the blade to slide out with no luck. Any advice?

Where the clasp slides over the arm, you see the tongue tab underneath, slide a small flathead screwdriver in between it and the arm.
It may be tight on the arm with crud/rust.

Thanks - that's exactly what I've been trying with no luck on either one. I'll shoot some WD40 down there and see if that loosens it up.
