Greetings, all!

Managed to catch a stone thrown up by the car I was following yesterday, and now have a nice big chip out of the windscreen :(.

Not one that requires immediate attention, and not in direct line of sight so unlikely to incur the wrath of the MOT inspector, but from experience they only get bigger so a new windscreen will be necessary at some point down the line.

So, what's a new windscreen cost these days? As it's completely flat, I'm hoping it's not going to be extortionate..

Cheers,

Plug

If its insured Fully comp you should be able to claim without affecting your NCB dependent on your policy its something like sixty quid excess. and if its less than the size of a 20p piece it might be repairable with a special resin, which most insurers will do FOC. For now put a bit of clear tape over the chip to seal any moisture out,

Hmm, fully comp? Can't see the point of it on a car that's worth buttons..

Mind you, the windscreen cover would come in handy now .

I suggest that you look at 'fully comp' insurance.
The Panda is one of the very few class 1 cars.
My fully comp went up this year to £98.00.

Yes.... but that's your special "I've a note from my doctor to say I'm sane' quote that you get, lol!

Well, even for me it's only 200 quid and that's after demolishing a Fiat Dealers with Sylvia in 2005
