General Window trim strip warranty recall replacement?

Hey guys,

Had my 500e first Service back in September this year and was advised there was an issue with the window rubbers on my car that came under a service bulletin for misalignment, the dealer said they measured the height of the window rubbers on the doors and my car is affected and parts would be ordered for warranty work.

As I can’t see the issue and know (from previous experience of Fiat dealers) that the less a car is pulled apart the less room for damage and further issues there are I don’t want to get a very minor cosmetic issue “fixed” so I advised the service advisor that due to previous experiences with Fiat (and the motor trade in general) I would forgo the work to which I was advised this would invalidate my warranty, to which I asked which part of the warranty? She said she would find out and get back to me.

Have any of you guys been advised of this work on your own cars? What was involved in the replacement?

I would ask to confirm that in writing with an argumentation. And check with some legal advisor if they are not talking rubbish.
