Hello my name is Nikola, and i wanted to get my 1.3 more faster. I was looking te get it from 84 to 130hp, now i want to see will it stand that much horsepower and what are the modifications that i will need to do to get it to 130hp?

Here is the pic of my car

130hp is not a very high level of power to find in a car these days.

My Punto Evo sporting with the 1.6 multijet engine was a standard 120hp and with a remap could make 150hp with no other modifications.

What you’re asking is how to get your 84hp car up to 130hp which by my maths is about a 55% increase.

That is a very significant increase, and far beyond what you could achieve with a remap.

If I were trying to do what you’re doing I would be speaking to specialists in engine tuning/remaps, because they will know.

You’d likely need a bigger turbo, bigger injectors new exhaust and a larger inter cooler. Just as a guess as to what is needed. Then the car remapping to get the most out of those parts.

You maybe able to get somewhere near your 130hp figure but just remember
1. You will have to spend a frightening amount of money to do that.
2. Your car will only have 130hp, just 10 more than a standard 1.6 multijet sporting.
3. Any average rep (company) car driver with a 3 series bmw will still leave you behind at any set of traffic lights.

4. The rest of your car will not be designed for the extra performance, for example the 1.6 multijet had better brakes and uprated suspension, including firmer anti roll bars.

So my advice is if you want to keep with a Punto Evo then sell the one you have and buy either a 1.6 multijet or stretch to buy an Abarth Punto Evo.

Failing that buy something with more power already like a 10 year old golf gtd

Thanks for advice, in serbia we have driving licenc limiter to 109hp for 4 years so i can not buy a car with more hp. But to buy 1.6 or abarth is really better choice i will look up to it. Thanks again for advice
