Just had welding done for the MOT, and have ordered a couple of rattle cans of Mambo Yellow to return the car back to its original condition.
Does anyone know what colour of primer was used, white or grey? TIA..

Probably a clue

Should have asked what touch up paint are you using

Fiats now normally use a water based Matt which looks very dull and awful until a clear coat is applied.

Not sure what the original clear coat is i suspect to be more environmentally friendly it will no longer be 2K, but that's a guess

According to the seller, it's a gloss finish, no lacquer required.

If priming after welding, and for those touchups where you've rubbed through to bare metal, use this. Can also be bought in 1 litre tins ready to spray, but you need good protection. I've always got a tin on the shelf.

Also useful if a stone chip has gone through the primer, though then I'll put it on with a fine paintbrush.

The rattle cans are available in store from Halfords, though various online sellers are usually cheaper.
