Hi, can someone tell me which battery to use in my Fiat Bravo 1.9 JTD 105.
I bought a car few months ago, but battery was weak, once I accidently left inside light and few hours latter battery was dead. So...how much Ah?
thanks

Of course you can...What do you have? I read somewere that 12V 74Ah should be used...

Goto Halfords or motorworld, look in the battery catalogue and find your vehicle. It will state which battery you need. I prefer motorworld for batteries as they are LUCAS and come with a 4 year warranty. Try it out. If you want battery specifics try your cars user manual.

My JTD has a 60 Ah battery and it has been fine for the 12 months I have had the car (as far as I know, it was the car in the battery when I got it).

Ok.thanks for replys guys, and I have one more question related to the battery. As I said before, battery in my car was weak from the day I bought a car. After few months my CD charger broke down. I took it to the repair and they said to me that some wires on the board melted down because some component (transistor or something I`m not sure) on the board was broken and use too much currency so as a result of that, wire has been melted. I took unimeter and find muself broken wire on the charger`s board.
Is it posible that weak battery could produce this?
Tommorow I will take my car to the mechanic, but I`m just currious could week battery can cause mailfunctions on electric components?

Possible but unlikely and not in the way you suggest. A device can only "draw" current in that the battery can't "push" it out (as a simple way to understand it). Hence for it to damage wiring due to too much current, it would have been a fault with something other than the battery to draw out the current.

electrical componets can fail for many reasons but if it causes a melted wire it often means the wrong size fuse has been used for that circuit.

This mourning I bought EXIDE battery, 60Ah, that`s the biggest battery which can be mounted in my car. I wanted to buy 66Ah but there is no room for it.
Anyway, thanks again....
