Hey, ive been told the color of my 126 is an Original Fiat color BUT i dont know which one. Can anybody identify or guess which color this is just from the photo. I need some touch up paint for rock chips. It may seem like a deep red color in the pictures but has an Orangey color to it.

Have you checked the paint code on the Vin plate or in the boot etc. I can't remember where exactly but someone Forum is sure to know.:)
Its been repainted at some point in its life and the color on the vin plate is the old one, i can also see traces of the old paint below the rear seats and its not the same. Thanks for the suggestions tho.

In which case any replies are going to be guesses. Your post is (not intentionally) misleading and reads as though it's the original paint, until you read on. You could have made it clearer in post 1 that it had been re-sprayed
It might help if you can estimate when it was re-painted
Try Coral Red 135 (there is more than one Coral red Coral red 102, Deep coral red 165, corallo 193, etc)
135 is slightly more orangy-tanged (pun intended)

As @woz says, guesses, it really could be anything.
What I suggest is you go to a paint company that supplies the trade car paint shops and get them to mix up the same colour using their paint charts, unless they can correctly identify it as I suspect it is just a similar mix that the painter made up , this often happens with older cars.
I had a customer with a green van who wanted it matched and no one knew what it was, I took it to a paint mixing company and they were unsure until an old man came out from the back of the shop, took one look and said South Eastern Electrical Company green! Apparently it was the exact colour they did all their van fleet, so he was able to look it up and correctly match the paint.:)

Thanks for your response, i can see your point with how its misleading and only now realised after reading it again (English is not my main language) It was painted within the last 5 years from what i was told, where they said that it was an originial Fiat color, wether they ment Fiat or 126 color idk. BUT i have to say that Coral Red 135 does look very much like it.

The car is currently stored away for the winter, so i cant take it to a paint shop sadly. As you can see above @woz gave me some color options of what it could be, and Coral Red 135 does look very similar, i can buy a touch up kit online with this exact color for not very much money, so i will try it out. Thanks for all your responses this forum has been very helpful.

We used to take the petrol cap flap to the paint people (I see not possible for you) how about the engine compartment lid if not to awkward?:)
The other point is although some paint companies are able to make up an aerosol can , most will want to supply a minimum quantity, something like .5 litre.
The main advantage is you should get a good match of colour.:)

Taking the engine lid off is super easy to do and actually genius. I had not thought about doing something as simple as that. Haha thanks!

I think it may be Rosso Arancio 171 the same as my 126, it also looks red in photos but in reality has an orange hue to it.

I may be wrong but looking at both photos I'd say it's unlikely to be that (the camera always lies...), I hope we get some feedback...
Nice 126 by the way...

The clear coat on my 1988 126p is completely gone, but this is the tag I have attached to the frunk on the inside. Have you maybe looked there to see if you have one?
