Hi, just swapped my 500 for a 500X sport but wondering what is the dome on the centre of the dashboard for?

If you have climate control then it measures the heating from the sunlight to the car

Yes it's a Solar Sensor,
makes the fan speed increase as you drive into direct sunlight
