General What is normal oil consumption for a JTD

Can anyone tell me what normal oil consumption for the JTD is?

My 2001 JTD (65K miles) uses almost none between services. I have the oil & filter changed every 6K miles.

Used for a lot of stop/start local stuff in the main.

mine has used a little between services, the dealer seemed to always overfill mine slightly which probably didn't help.

Hi my jtd has done 35,000 miles and has never needed the oil topped up between services.

We've done 25000 miles in ours and never had to add any oil or seen the indicated level drop.
