Well I have just had my wheels done is graphite grey but I think on the colour of your car polished silver would look better than a dark colour, what's everyone else think?

my black blades were awesome and you know it bitches:p
they now have a new onder on the forum....
or they will have soon ( i wnt say yet incase he's keepin it secret ;))

but i think black would look sweet anyway...

I reckon it can depend on the spoke design as well. Blades look rather decent in black OR anthracite, but the OP's alloys, being a 6 spoke/multi-spoke design (fairly similar to mine) may not look as good. I guess a photoshop would be in order to see how they may turn out.

I have been tempted to have my alloys done as they were kerbed by the previous owner a fair few times. However, I'd prefer to upgrade to 17s or perhaps 18s as my tyres may need changing before it's next service in 12 months time. Given the price difference in getting 4 new tyres and refurbing the alloys or getting new alloys with tyres, I'd prefer the latter balanced by selling my old alloys.

I'll be selling my 17" blades soon if anyone is interested...(y) Sorry for the dirty wheel in the pctures but it at least it gives you an idea of anthracite blades (y)

Recently professionally refurbed and powdercoated to an "as new" standard with the plastic centre caps colour matched at a cost of £300. The tyres are brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetrics which have done less than 1000 miles.

cheers for all the input, i have seen same colour stilo with gloss black rims but they were new alloys so that could be why they looked good... as for the refurb i am now more tempted to go for the gunmetal/anthricite colour!
greggers jus curious how much are you selling your blades for?

These are exactly as mine look... best colour on the dark painted cars I think.

Erm, I've not really given it a huge amount of though to be honest  Given that the wheels are "as new" (totally unmarked (y)) and powder coated (not painted :yuck:) and the tyres are £100 a corner, I expect I'll be looking at around the £400 mark for the lot. To be fair though, it depends on how much my 18"s cost tomorrow, as all I want to do is just cover the cost of them... and I'm getting a bargain on the 18"s (y)

Don't tempt me with that figure for those wheels/tyres, trying to make sure I only get my suspension at the moment and nothing else. Well, not for a while at least :D

lol, I can ask for more if it helps :D (y)

Once I've got the wheels off, I'll clean them up and take some decent pictures and get them into the classifieds for people to have a gander at. Hopefully tomorrow...
