I’m a big fan of PU car body sealant mastic. It sticks like ** and it’s very tough. It’s also great for repairing kid’s school shoes. I have no idea how mine can destroy theirs so fast.

Do you think this might stick the bump strip back on the front door? Don't know why but it keeps bending back outwards, ni matter what we try yo stick it with!
