WCR bbq thread

Okay folks, the legendary FS bbq will be making a return at the West Coast Rally in a couple of weeks time.

Once upon a time we had a neat system on the go where everyone took something with them to contribute, lessening the financial and planning burden.

So...the idea is simple. If your up for taking food, drink or sundry supplies ie sauces, napkins then please post here and well work it all out.

What would also help is making sure if you plan to attend you have already rsvpd on the main thread so we can guage accurate numbers.

Did a quick check of the shed and there's not as much out there as I thought. In fact it's pretty much beverage based at the moment

I have the tea urn and polystyrene cups, tea and coffee, plastic teaspoons, 6 cans of coke and 7 cans of sprite.

I'm buying a bbq sometime this week so I'll bring that along plus the above stuff and, of course, some diet coke for me. Might see if some of those gawd-awful irn bru sausages are in the butchers as well :laugh:

Make it one bag as I'll take some with me to get the bbq going first thing. Are you still planning to take rolls?

Don't forget milk for the tea/coffee drinkers. I've got sugar on my list - forgot for Cupar and gengis had to have his cuppa without. Oops h34r:

No you didn't but thanks cant wait till Sunday and I thing I'm going to wrap them round the seats for people to see also need to make a list of the mods to put on the windscreen lol and there is loads more to do for Sunday including work

I'm cheating as usual and paying someone to clean the punto :laugh: But I'm also making lists and lists of all that I need to bring down with me.

As for the bbq, from what I can tell we have the following

rolls, burgers, sausages, bacon, condiments, tea, coffee, juice, shortbread

BBQ is ready to go and I have a bag of coals. There's a lighter in the FS box that usually resides in my car but I'll take matches too. Paper napkins, polystyrene cups, plastic spoons and tea urn are also in the box

Anything else for the bbq?

Nope, no point in forking out that sort of money when I'll only use it a handful of times a year for FS shows and at home so it's a traditional one

4 1/2 hours of hovering washing and polishing went into the car today and then went to halfords picked up some supplys and ended up getting some touch up paint so I spent another 2 hours tonight attacking the horrible stone chips and I probably have another 6 hours ahead of me and that's only the bonnet probably lol
