Technical Urgently need some answers about Fiat Palio

Hi everybady!
I found ower here a Fiat Palio SW 1.9 d 2001,that car isn't comon ower here in the Europe and that is why Im asking you this question.
I foun out that this model isn't made in Italy,actualy it is being assambled in diferent countries,but Im interested to know is it chasy and engine componens made in Italy or in the countris where the car get assambled?
I would like if some of can tel me characteristics o the engine 1.9 diese,not TD or JTD,or if you can give me some site whwre I can find all technical data?
If there is any one who use this car I would like to know what is his impresions,fuel consumtion,safety,preformances ....

Hi Chicha!

The 1.9 Diesel is a very reliable engine, altough not very fast.
It IS (was) common in different Fiat models in Europe.
It is a bit old fashioned, but that is an advance for servicing it, it's just simple, no turbo's, no electronics etc.
Go for it, you can't be wrong!
