Technical Uno wiper mod. Shield for heater matrix

Wipers were giving me trouble for a while so I successfully managed to fit a Uno motor motor.
However, now it appears water is dripping into the heater matrix and the old heater shroud won’t fit.
Has anyone successfully fabricated a modified heater shroud to accommodate the uno motor?

I used a piece of damp proof plastic to divert the water away.
