Unix Courses

Hi All,

I currently use UNIX platforms within my workplace, it is used for almost everything. Although I have completed a unix admin course, I was wondering if there are any good online ones? Dont have to be free.

Basically, as part of my job im always using Unix platforms and at the minute im trying to get a good grasp of perl scripting - its not somethign i want to do as a career but it helps in my job and now is the perfect time to get as much experience as possible.

My manager has said that if i feel I want to progress further then online courses is a good place to start.

Iv been reading through some tutorials but looking for something more official.

I've already done a Unix admin course that was tutor led, but doing something online means not having time out of work.

Then if it's perl scripting you're after do perl scripting? :idea:

I doubt a lot of the Linux "admin" courses would cover perl scripting as 99% of the time it's unessential for admin tasks.

Ah that makes me sound daft haha. I just presumed unix courses would cover it. thanks for the link!
