Ulysse prestigio 2.0 JTD, Auto problem...

Hi,
Newbie here...
Fiat Ulysse Prestigio 2.0 JTD seems to stick in 3rd gear when in drive. This only happens when engine is cold. If I pull over and run through the gears manually 3 or 4 times with foot on the brake it seems to solve the problem until the next time I start the car from cold.
Anything to do with the oil in the gear box needing changing?

Thank You for the welcome...
Yes its a proper auto without clutch.
BUT it also has provision to run through the gears manually.

The cars tend to be a hybrid. Of fiat and psa(pug..citreon).

So I had to ask.
Apart from checking or changing the auto box oil..Im not sure what to advise.



Does it do the same shifting manually..& in auto ?

Yes it just sticks when in auto Charlie...
When I run through the gears manually when cold its fine, no sticking in 3rd at all.
Funny one.
Do you think checking and changing the auto box oil might help?
