Hi
I saw some images of wide arch Abarths (maybe German?) that showed Navy blue bodies with the Fiat Mustard yellow wheel arches.

This is the colour scheme I'm considering - has anyone got / know of these images please?

Andrew

I'm certain that some one to gave a link to a site that had blue and yellow 500's recently on someone else's thread
Research tells me that navy blue with mustard yellow wheelarches was used on 131's and 124's as well as 500's
Just would like to review the images before plunging into a mad paint scheme
A navy blue car with navy blue extended wheelarches seems to miss a trick - if you know what I mean,.............

Could you not photoshop an image of the all blue one to show mustard arches? Bit of a faff but...

Ahhh - here's the rub
My wife thinks I've spoilt the sweet little 500 - and I was hoping to show genuine images of the colour scheme to convince her

Morning Andrew;
The colours you are describing are the works 'OLIOFIAT' colours which the 'factory' 124 and 131 rally cars were painted in. If you look at 'classic fiat 500 in oliofiat colours' you will see a large selection of different colour schemes for Fiat/Fiat-Abarth. Sadly, the only 500s in the 'oliofiat' colours are modern 500s. I think that this is where your images may have come from, but I will keep on looking.

I feel your pain. I've just undertaken an authentic Abarth 595SS conversion, re-badged her, but my wife has vetoed the red stripes for the same reason!

Shame, I think they look very nice!

I'm blinkin' positive I've seen the classic 500 in the blue and yellow recently
It was a site for a tuning company....
I don't care if it's not authentic - I just fancy a mad looking race 500
