Hi everyone I'm currently on the hunt for a twin ignition coil as mine has crapped the bed, I have the wasted spark ignition setup in my 1992 126p. The one I have looks like this one --> https://webshop.fiat500126.com/en/fiat-600/electronics-und-ignition/ignition/ignition-coil-ngk but just in a twin coil setup, I've combed the internet for one like that but cannot find one anywhere! Although I did see this one on the webshop here -->https://webshop.fiat500126.com/en/t...gnition-coil-_cornered/doppelzuendspule_eckig but I'm not sure if it will work? :bang:
Has anyone on here used one of these? If so how did you wire up the series resistor and how was it to install?
The one really weird thing about the coil I have now ran just fine last summer and I only drove the vehicle for about 3 hours total due to a cracked cylinder head, witch I replaced recently. It sat around all winter with the battery and HT leads disconnected... anyways sorry to ramble I just don't understand how a coil can go bad with the battery and HT leads disconnected
unless I overheated the coil when the head gasket blew?
