Tunisia is in turmoil, apparently no UK visitors there but Holiday companies are returning holidaymakers to their home countries.

Are you heading for Tunisia this year?

Doesn't look like a quick easy fix with the Police / Army firing live ammunition in Tunis & now holiday resorts...

Edit... :- so rioting on the streets is the way to go... Update at 16.20 hours.

Where the encumbent PM / President was going to withdraw his electorla registration in 2 years time, having already done 5 years instead of 4, and apparently / allegedy lining his own & members of his Parliaments pockets... he has now announced he will dissolve his government in 6 months time...

Its a fantastic country, went on holiday there last July and was planning on going back this year.

Hated the place when we went just out of season...

Keep your eyes on the News, state of emergency in operation but may be OK if the President whatever he is stays true to his word...

Airspace now closed, Army have taken over the Airport... 1 or all I have no idea...

We went in Peak season to Hammamet. Was a nice little town. we went for a week and spent 4 days in the sahara dessert on a tour. flew out of Monistar.

i think a majority of the trouble is in Tunis, so that might be the closed airspace. good luck to holiday makers
