Hi guys,

I have a 2001 1.2 Bravo and I am trying to change the off side wish bone but I am having some serious trouble. I have gotten the old one off but putting the new one on is where the issue is - when I put the bolts in one side I cannot get them in on the other side, no matter what I try. If I put the bolts in on one side the other holes will be 2-3mm out and and the bolt will not go in! Any advice or tips before I go mad!!!!!

First, do not tighten the bolts, screw them in just that they hold, the tighten them. Also do not insert the ball head first. Second, you may have a wrong wishbone for a different model.

I've done both wishbones on my motor so feel your pain.
Like Sven said, deffinately dont try ataching the ball head first as I made that mistake first time and it took hours to get it on.
Second tme was a doddle, jacking at the right point is the crucial part so you've go the room to get the wishbone in level.
I jacked up underneath the brake disk
And if its not dead level this is where getting the bolts in becomes a pain.
But again like Sven said, get one side level and bolts loosly in and then the other side.
Get your ball head at an angle, push down on the wishbone as you push the disc in to get onto the ball joint.
