My 2 daughters (9+5) and myself were curled up watching Disneys 'The Fox And The Hound'.
Came to a bit where, if you know the film, the old lady lets her pet fox loose miles away to save him from the hunter next door.

So... que sad music etc. And my oldest goes real quiet, I asked if she was ok and she nodded, asked if she was going to cry, head shook. Then came the whine.... lol poor thing gets so engrossed in films, especially ones with animals, she was howling.

Poor thing.

Aww bless her... The Fox & The Hound.... haven't seen that film for yonks.... used to have it on VHS.

The first 2 films I ever saw in the cinema were Bambi and Watership Down both which had me howling like your daughter. It took a good couple of years after that for my parents to convince me that a trip to the cinema was a treat and not a punishment lol

The next film they took me to? Bloody E.T. and yes I cried at that too

it probably goes some way to explaining why I can't be arsed going to the cinema nowadays
