Hi me again like i said in the earlier thread i bought a mk2 Punto yesterday and ive got a list here on what i need and what i would like to do to the car...

- New engine TOP cover bit of it has snapped off (how i do not know) this will mean a new rocker gasket also.
- New spark plugs which i should be doing today
- K&N air filter (whats the best one for the mk2) the mk1 K&N's were the worst ever i had keep gluing mine back on!! :bang:
- Some nice 16/17 inch alloys
- Maybe get the back windows tinted out (privacy) lot of cheeky people around my area haha!!
- Oil change new filter etc...
- I also would not mind some smoked rear lights

not k&n best one is GSR if you can afford it if not probably a focus one

If you're doing the plugs, do the leads at the same time! Might help with the problems you described in the other thread.

Don't put silly big wheels on, you'll make it slow and horrible to drive! 15's are ideal!

Sticking a filter on won't do anything for you unless you can get it a nice feed of good cold air! Just sticking a filter on top of the TB will draw hot air from the exhaust into the intake, actually losing you power!

Which top cover is broken? Does that year have a plastic cover, or is it the rocker cover? If it's that, then how is it not leaking oil everywhere? The cover gasket is worth doing anyway, make sure to follow the guide for doing it, otherwise it'll leak again in about 2 minutes!
