Wasn't wanting to spend 100s on some stickers for a weekend...

if it was me i would buy some sheets of vinyl (including all the colours you will need), then i'd make a design on my PC, and then i'd print some templates of that design, and then finally i'd use the templates to cut the vinyl with a scalpel and stick them on the car. if you get it wrong it comes off easily enough and you can start again. this is the cheapest option, and its also more fun.

once its been on a couple of days its more difficult to get off so i would wait for some decent sunny weather or use a hairdryer and take it very slow and careful.

Is the paint factory? if so, then any amount of vinyls won't take the paint off - if it's been resprayed then it depends on how well the sprayer has prepped it.

As for the vinyls, if you only want it for a weekend and isn't going to be closely scrutinised you could fit it yourself (i'll type you a walkthrough if thats the way you go) it's relatively easy to do a good job if you do it right, alternatively you could have the graphics shop fit it. Bear in mind that single colour graphics are cheaper and easier to fit - therefore cheaper to fit.

If you know exactly what you want and have some design software, you could do the artwork yourself to save money - or send me what you want and i'll do it for you then email it back.

Hope that helps(y)

PS. Don't go for magnetics, they can fall off if the paint underneath is wet / mucky / waxed too much / too big = too heavy and are expensive.

go cheapo shops can get magnetic signs for £4.99 with vinyl lettering

He says he wants big stickers mate, magnetic of good enough quality to drive the car with is £10 per metre for me to buy in, never mind sell out at - then there is vinyl, artwork and labour so even on little offcuts they'd be £15 - £20 for a little pair, plus why buy magnetic which is to keep when he only wants it for the weekend, when you could whack some vinyl on cheaper, would be bigger and you have more scope with the artwork as most places will only cut the magnetic into squares:confused:

Vector images mate, *.ai, *.eps, that sort of thing - no raster images as they are made of pixels not nodes.

YOUR PAINT SKILL ARE TOP NOTCH
