Good afternoon,

My streets road surface has been re dressed and my white alloys are caked in road tar, ive used tar and glue remover previously but never on painted and lacquered alloys.

How safe are these products for my alloys ?

The wheels were painted about a year ago.

Yeah I just did my car with it and works very well just spray it on leave it a min wipe and pressure wash it off or try bilberry wheel cleaner it works well and smells nice

i've used iron X on my alloys (Stock)
And no issues :)
it works well as a cleaner too!!

I've even used Sticky Stuff remover from betterware :) No issues too!

You'd be surprised how "strong" paint is when you use the right product

WD40 is supposed to disolve tar as well - not sure tho

Ziggy

Wd40 is good on tar I've used it on the dogs paws before when she walked across fresh tar
