Hi
I have a 2006 Stilo 1.4 Blue so relaunch model. I took the rear beam off to change the dreaded bushes (can't complain - after 20 years and 150k miles) and came face to face with some corrosion holes on the spring pans. Started refurbing but quite a bit of work so now I'm thinking just replace the beam with a new one. Scrapper ones seem to be short in supply and rotten. Does anyone know if the Bravo 2 beam is the same as late Stilo's? Part numbers don't seem to correlate but in pictures they look identical. Did ask an axle specialist. They said no as Bravo 2 has rear discs. My Stilo has rear discs. So, asked them if they could give me some measurements for the Bravo 2 one they are selling. They never responded. Anyone know if compatible or done it? Not tried Fiat for a Stilo beam as assume either not available or crazy cost.
Frustrating as the car's sound but stranded on axle stands - any advice appreciated!
