MOT

I cant see how it would fail its MOT, if it doesnt have one, after all, you cant tell if they work or not either can you. When I take my kitcar for its MOT, its classed as a 1963 car cause of the reg, so I have no reversing lights on cause you didnt need them back then, no windsceen, so no windscreen wipers, no spare wheel, and I can either leave the seat belts on, in which case they must work, or I can take them off, cause they wearnt copulsery back then.

Re: MOT

Don't try and take out the airbag yourself: it's definitely a garage job. The explosives that activate the bag can be pretty dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

Mind you, an airbag on the driver's side is a really useful thing to have: you may not live to regret removing it if you have serious accident. Also, I suspect the insurance company will want to know about this? I guess it could affect a personal injury claim if the worst came to the worst.
