Just been looking at this - then came on here and found some1 had already beat me to posting it...

a yellow 155 20vt.... nice!

Engine bay needs a tidy (Turbo J style) but nice colour... pitty about the seats and other silly bits... but it can be put back to normal.

It it stays at £99 I'll have a bid!

does look nice but whats the difference between converting a 147 or 155 as surely the coupe engine is the same regardless of what car it would be going in and all the other bits would come from the coupe. and the engine doesnt say 20v vis so isnt a 155 converted surely if you get what i mean.
so surely if 2 people was to do a 20vt conversion 1 on a r plate and 1 on say a v plate and they both got the same reg coupe turbos whats going to be different when they are both completed

the vis as you know is fly by throttle whereas the 147 isnt.so aparantly its a lot of fcukin about to do,and alot easier straight forward on thr 147 tahts all.
so if a 155 has been done then fair play to the ones that have done it :)

surely its only a case of adding a cable operated throttle pedal instead of the electronically operated one

no no no, its not just as simple as changin the throttle cable, there is a little more, the 20vt was based on the 147 hgt , when they did the 155hgt everythin changed, as stated the throttle needs changin, you will need to run a return fuel line as the 155 dont have one, wiring loom is different as the 155 has didital clocks, and the 147 and 20vt doesn't

wiring is the hardest part of the 155 hgt conversion,

wiring loom is different as the 155 has didital clocks, and the 147 and 20vt doesn't

mine does :p lol

not to mention fly by wire throttle, etc

but ulitmately you take most of the stuff that makes a 155 different out and end up with the equivelant of 147 anyway lol

Thats why most people start with the 147 instead of the 155.

Rich

oh you did mention the fly by wire thottle lol

(must read thoroughly next time....)

Rich

exactly like i said its not really a 155 by the time its converted to a 20vt as the coupe is based on a 147

only thing that bugs me personally about that car is that the front bump strips shouldn't be colour coded if the other ones aren't... doesn't match right aha

never spotted that lol i think your right, they shouldnt be cos the others arnt and with the car having a black and yellow theme.
maybe if the car was all yellow with normal grey wheels and untinted glass then the rest of the strips would have looked good colour coded?

'Sorted' :)

my hlx is yellow, with black rims and im getting my abarth bumper fitted soon, was gonna get the strips all colour coded, but think they look better black :) plus i painted my callipers yellow too and they look great through the black alloys

that was all done before i saw that mate, but not gonna lie, that's my dream bravo right there!

nice looking motor, and very neat looking work under the bonnet.

i read that it says full abarth bodykit? i think the only thing this car needs is a set of abarth sideskirts and it would be one of the best ive seen!!

personally i don't like the abarth sideskirts... think it looks better with the hgt skirts

but yeah looks well tidy under the bonnet, couldn't imagine driving my car with 280 italian horses under the bonnet though! aha
