Styling Spoiler

Hey People,
does anyone know why a 5 door rear spoiler(mk2) won't fit on a 3 door mk2 punto??

Hi have you tried one, acording to halfords this was the case with the mk1 as well they list difrent ones for 3door and 5 door, but i just took one off a 3 door and offered it up to my 5 door and it fits, all i need now is to find out what to use to stick it on as it was stuck straight to the glass.

The rear of the Mk1 was the same, apparently the rear of the Mk2 differs. Different lights and bumpers so depending on where the spoiler fits on it might well be the case.
