Splutter has a new 'Step Dad' (as you never really own Splutter, you kinda look after him)

Jack I'm sure will be along soon to say 'Hi' when he works out how to use Forum but here are some posts from his facebook to give you an idea of how the Panda Bug has bitten him!

his is Splutter - my cute new daily driver on loan from Panda Guru Jim Magill and will run along side Nora-May the Prefect. Just wait until its had my makeover........

Maybe not looking his best there.....

Love the Panda if it wasn't completely doing my head in...works fine electrically one day, the next...dead.

Think we've all been there....

Put my foot on Splutters brakes and the pipe burst...unfortunately it was the driver's side which requires human fingers to have 75 double-knuckled joints to refit the pipe....

Yup, that's my boy! Living with Splutter is always 'Eventful'

Splutter passed his MOT!!! Despite the tester being a complete bastard. A modern Jag beside me spent 60seconds on the suspension ruining device they use - Splutter was still being raped by it after 5 full minutes. How can that be fair? Just to add it ruined his electrics which failed when he rolled off the ramp!

So Splutter is back on the road!

Admittenly with a few issues after his MOT shake up....

But even thou he has lots of work to do he does look good!

BTW, Jack was wanting to know who did all the fantastic welding....

Hello! Jim is utterly correct - I'm crap at computers. I am however just loving driving Splutter. He has passed the MOT and despite the odd problem is now running perfectly! When i was 17 i had a Mini Cooper - Splutter kicks it's arse! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed double-declutching so much on the downshift just to hear the engine! Splutter flies!!

Splutter is doing very well!! The hedgehogs were the problem. He has just had a full service and I've sprayed a load of waxoyl underneath so he's good for a while yet! Doors to sort and photos will follow. Any ideas how to make him stop would be appreciated as the brakes are truly shocking. Can I upgrade??

Overhaul the callipers and give the wedges a good clean. Coat all moving parts in copper slip. If that doesn't make a difference it could be the master cylinder. What are the back brakes like? Rubber hoses?

Jack there's a screw on the pin that operates between the master cylinder and the servo. When i'm looking at your doors I'll show you how to adjust it. there's a thread on how to do it on the forum.
