General spare wheel remove

hi,
i recently fitted 17;s to my fiat punto sporting and have just relised that there is not much point of having a spare wheel..

i was wondering if anybody knows the current uk laws on carrying a spare, if there is no law i am thinking about putin a 12" sub in there..... somthing ive not seen any how ??? -- but probably very common ??

the one problem with my fiat is that its to damn fast !!

yeah whip it out mate, the law states that, if you have a spare it must be road legal tire, if it is not you can get done for the spare, if you do not have 1 there is no prob, can of tire weld mate, that what i am gonna do this weekend in my mk2 sporting, have you had it lowered yet, i have 17" wheels and have lowered mine -50mm, no scrubbage at all and it looks damn hard.

ive not had it lowerd yet, mines an mk1,,

im thinking of gettin it lowerd by 40, that way i would not need arches rolled,, but i may lower it 60 and get the arches rolled, 60 would handle better don'tyou think ?

Do what I did, have 2 buckets in the back with a spare 17" alloy sitting between them. Obviously with a colour coded cover.

Take out the spare, dump the tool kit and leave the fat chick at home. Any weight you take out of the Punto makes it go faster and faster.
