General Sleeping in an Idea

Hi,

Thinking about buying an Idea and have read that you can fold the front and rear seats flat to form a bed to sleep 2 people. Has anyone done this and is it comfortable?

Yes, you can do this. The seats are not exactly flat, but other than that, you won't have any problems. If I remember right, you fold the front seats down (the seatbacks folded foward), do not recline them. With the rear, you recline the backs as far as possible and you may have to adjust fore or aft to get just the right position. An extra pillow or two per person is a good idea, as are blankets.

I did have a look at it and postioned the seats as best I could, but it really doesn't look like it would be comfortable!

As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, so give it a try. It's a lot better than any of the alternatives in the car and a lot cheaper than a B&B or something.
