Well I've been experimenting with some Merguiars products. Used the Stage 1 Paint cleaner, then Stage 2 Polish, topped off with two coats of Merguiars Gold Class Wax.

The pictures don't do it justice. I intend to Clay bar the car in the summer for a more "glass" like shine:)

Don't take this the wrong way because I think the Schumey edition is well nice, but what is the difference between that and the abarth?

Oh, and i really don't like those airboxs!lol

Well the Schumacher Edition was limited to 2000 in the UK (I think, mines 1616). It has the Abarth kit as standard but also ABS, sport pedals, and a few chrome bits and bobs:D

Yes the airbox appears to be half the engine too!

That looks immaculate. I've just bought mine back and am hoping to get it looking as good. It's the same year but I sold it in 2011 and it hasn't been looked after since. Now it needs a lot of work. Great little car.

Yeah sorry about that!

When I have free time I go through the old members motors threads looking for ones with valid images and then import them into the garage 🤭
ben, Please never apologise. The pictures were/are lovely and it doesn't matter when they were posted they're still a treat for the eyes. As I understand it this lovely forum is due mostly to your efforts and hard work? and for that I think you have the right to do pretty much what you want with it. I very much appreciate your efforts. - right, I'm done with grovelling now :giggle: (y)
