Hi, this is what I found today in my panda...

This morning I was going over some fast mountain roads:devil:
At a point, when I was at 130kmh, I braked and all the front right wheel was shaking hard, but really hard (at the point I was thinking that I was loosing the wheel:eek:)... so I stopped the car. I have hit the tyre with my foot and it was making a kind of metallic echo, like something loose. This only the right wheel.

So I took the car at home, and removed the wheels. The right rim was very hot, even the bolts, and the left was cold:confused:. why?

I found this image on this forum:

I have 1 or 2 millimeters of play where "track rod end" meet #1 item in the picture in every wheel. I can feel it shaking the wheel by hand at 9 and 3 of clock positions.

It's normal?

What other can be? Brakes are fines and shocks are minus than 1 year old.

sorry for the English(y)

This might not be it...but it might...

A while ago as soon as I hit around 35 MPH the car started wobbling and faster than that, it started bouncing around. At low speeds, it felt like the wheel was loose so I checked the nuts. They were fine.

The garage told me to check the tyre and I found the inner wall had split and the tread was all out of line. I changed the tyre and it is OK now.

It did feel as if the wheel was coming off at the time.
